Manufacturers vary enormously in their ability to produce the wide range of pcbs possible. In some cases, this is for technical expertise, in others for economy. You benefit from having a single point of contact, we handle the complexity of multiple suppliers.

Background

GEM began life in 1992 with a small scale manufacturing facility producing single sided and double sided PTH boards but within 12 months changed direction and began importing pcbs and assemblies from the Far East. Our customers benefited from much lower prices and consistently high quality.

Since those early days, we have gone from strength to strength and currently handle approx 30 tonnes per annum (2006). This covers a range of products simple single sided (lighting industry) pcbs with conventional components to complex multi-layers with buried vias and 0.25mm holes (GSM communications) with BGA components.

Our growth over the years has been steady and sustained.
